FAQ

How do I trim a video for free without uploading?
Drop your file onto ClipForge, drag the handles to your in/out points and click Process. The cut runs locally with ffmpeg compiled to WebAssembly — your video never leaves the device.
What's the difference between Fast and Precise?
Fast uses stream-copy (-c copy): instant and lossless, cutting at the nearest keyframe. Precise re-encodes for a frame-accurate cut at exact timestamps, slightly slower.
Is there a watermark or file limit?
No watermark and no signup. Practical size depends on your device memory; for very large files we recommend trimming with Fast mode or using shorter clips.
Which formats are supported?
Common web video like MP4 (H.264) and WebM (VP9/VP8). Output keeps your source container.
